सुपर कंप्यूटर 1960 में शुरू किए गए और मैनचेस्टर विश्वविद्यालय में एटलस के साथ सेमुर क्रे द्वारा विकसित किए गए थे। क्रे ने सीडीसी 1604 को डिजाइन किया था । जो दुनिया का पहला सुपर कंप्यूटर था और यह ट्रांजिस्टर के साथ वैक्यूम ट्यूब को बदल देता है। इनमे क्लस्टर सिस्टम का प्रयोग किया जाता हैं| क्लस्टर सिस्टम कंप्यूटिंग का मतलब है कि मशीन एक नेटवर्क में अलग-अलग कंप्यूटरों के ऐरे के बजाय एक सिस्टम में कई प्रोसेसर का उपयोग करती है। इन कंप्यूटर का आकार बड़ा होता हैं। सबसे शक्तिशाली सुपर कंप्यूटर कुछ फीट से लेकर सैकड़ों फीट तक हो सकतेसबसे है। सुपरकंप्यूटर की कीमत 2 लाख डॉलर से 100 मिलियन डॉलर से अधिक हो सकती हैं। दुनिया में सबसे तेज़ सुपर कंप्यूटर Sunway TaihuLight था, चीन के विक्सू शहर में, जो चीन के नेशनल रिसर्च सेंटर ऑफ़ पैरेलल कंप्यूटर इंजीनियरिंग एंड टेक्नोलॉजी (NRCPC) द्वारा विकसित किया गया है| Supercomputers were introduced in the 1960s and developed by Seymour Cray with ATLAS at the University of Manchester. Cray designed the CDC 1604. Which was the world's first supercomputer and it replaces vacuum tubes with transistors. Cluster system is used in these. Clustered system computing means that the machine uses multiple processors in a single system instead of an array of individual computers in a network. The size of these computers is large. The most powerful supercomputers can range from a few feet to hundreds of feet. Supercomputers can cost from $2 million to over $100 million. The fastest supercomputer in the world was the Sunway TaihuLight, developed by China's National Research Center of Parallel Computer Engineering and Technology (NRCPC) in Weixu City, China.

सुपर कंप्यूटर की बिशेषताये -

सुपर कंप्यूटर  डेटा को बहुत तेज़ी से प्रोसेस कर  है। “सुपरकंप्यूटर” के कंप्यूटिंग परफॉरमेंस को बहुत अधिक मापा जाता है। सुपर कंप्यूटर की कंप्यूटिंग परफॉर्मेंस को MIPS के बजाय FLOPS (floating-point operations per second) में मापा जाता है। सुपर कंप्यूटर में हजारों प्रोसेसर होते हैं, जो प्रति सेकंड अरबों और खरबों की गणना कर सकते हैं, या आप कह सकते हैं कि सुपर कंप्यूटर FLOPS के लगभग सौ क्वैडिल तक पहुंचा सकते हैं। इसे शक्ति शाली कंप्यूटर माना जाता है।super computer  Processing data very fast  Is. सुपर कंप्यूटर का उपयोग -

अब सवाल आता है कि सुपर कंप्यूटर का उपयोग कहा किया जाता है। हम आपको बता दें कि सुपर कंप्यूटर का उपयोग सुपरकंप्यूटर को वहां पर काम मे लिया जाता है जहाँ पर बहुत ज्यादा पॉवर और तेज गति के साथ रियल टाइम में गणना करने की जरूरत होती है. किसी भी कंप्यूटर को इस काबिलियत के आधार पर सुपर कहा जाता है कि वह कितना बड़ा कैलकुलेशन कितनी जल्दी कर लेता है. सुपरकंप्यूटर की गति की गणना फ्लॉप्स (Floating Points Operation Per Second i.e. FLOPS)  में की जाती है. साधारण कंप्यूटर कार्य की गणना "प्रति सेकेंड लाखों निर्देश" या Million Instructions Per Second (MIPS) में की जाती है। Now the question comes that where is the supercomputer used. 8. ऐनिमेशन मूवी बनाने के लिए हॉलीवुड में सुपर कंप्यूटर का इस्तेमाल किया जाता है साथ ही में मनोरंजन के लिए gaming  के क्षेत्र में भी इसका उपयोग किया जाता है सुपर कंप्यूटर गेम प्रदर्शन को स्थिर करने में मदद करता है जब बहुत सारे उपयोगकर्ता गेम खेल रहे होते हैं।. जी हाँ बात कर रहे हैं सुपर कंप्यूटर की तो सभी देशों के अपने- अपने सुपर कंप्यूटर होते हैं। सभी देश अपने - अपने काम के लिए अपना सुपर कंप्यूटर का उपयोग करते हैं। और सभी देशो ने अपने - अपने कम्प्यूटरों का नाम भी रखा होता है। जैसे हम अपने देश के सुपर कंप्यूटर की बात करे तो । जो हमारे देश का पहला सुपर कंप्यूटर था। उसका नाम परम 8000 और परम 10000 था। इस समय भारत का सुपर कंप्यूटर 2019 में IIT-BHU को परम-शिवाय मिला था।भारत को 2019 में परम शिवाय मिला था. परम शिवाय यानी भारत को NSM के तहत मिला पहला सुपर कंप्यूटर. फरवरी-2019 में इसे IIT-BHU में इंस्टॉल किया गया था। इसकी कीमत करीब 32.5 करोड़ रुपए थी। Yes, we are talking about supercomputers, so all countries have their own supercomputers.
